This will be our local contest to select a winner and runner-up, to advance to Regionals.
Students from local high schools are invited to prepare a speech using the principles of the Four Way Test -
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
With those four principles in mind, the speech can be about anything, but as in past speeches, they are well thought out and provocative.
Please come show your support for this important Rotary event.
Please note - we are planning to continue with a hybrid meeting format. For hybrid meetings we are aiming for a minimum of 20 in-person attendees in order to support the meeting logistics. For those comfortable to attend in person, masking and social distancing rules will be followed although relaxed if you are vaccinated. Registration is required for in-person attendance so that we can plan meals. Register here if you have not done so.
For those who wish to see the presentation from a Zoom meeting, your login information is below:

Big Ticket night is back after 2 years. This is one of the premier events on the Rotary calendar and we're set to go - this Wednesday, May 11th.
For the new members of the club, the event is based around a reverse raffle - object is you want to be one of the lucky people holding one of the last 5 tickets. During the raffle we give away random cash prizes to numbers pulled.
The $120 per person price includes entry into the raffle, 2 drink tickets and choice of Prime Rib or Salmon dinner.
Mike Sloane at Brookside will have tickets for you and your guests. He will be the point person for ticket sales.
I am expecting the tickets to go very fast this year since we have not had this event for two years. Many of the attendees are Brookside club members so don't hesitate to get your tickets.
It's that time of year again! While a lot of us are Spring cleaning our homes, the roadways need some Spring cleaning as well.
Ken Snyder has so kindly arranged for The Rotary Club to "Spring Clean" our sponsored roadway on PA-724. We'll be meeting at 7:30AM on April 16, 2022 in the parking lot of Jerry's Rotisserie and Fried Chicken (233 PA-724, Pottstown, PA 19465).
We will provide safety vests, garbage bags, and other supplies as needed.
Ken has promised he'll have some doughnuts for us. If that doesn't get you out of doors on a beautiful morning, then I don't know what will!
There will be a Climate March: Saturday April 23rd, 12 pm start in front of The Hill School, finish at EcoFest located at Smith Family Plaza, 100 E High St in Pottstown
PLEASE download the Neidig Chairperson packet HERE as it has all the necessary registration instructions. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for students to attend camp.
In the Neidig Chairperson Packet you will also see easy hyperlinks to register your club and your campers and buy chicken barbeque tickets. I have attached the packets HERE for your convenience.
For complete instructions, please make sure you read the Club Chairperson Packet. We have included screen shots to help make registering easy. The registration fee is $300/camper. There is no limit on how many campers a club sends.
Neidig Night tickets will only be available through on-line purchase with a credit card. Remember, the price of the Neidig Night Barbeque is included in the camper tuition, so you do not need to purchase tickets for campers.
To help people understand the spirit of our camp, we created a short promotional video that can be accessed on our website home page. This is a wonderful tool to use for recruitment of campers. If you have any questions or need additional help, please to do not hesitate to contact Charlie or myself at the e-mail addresses listed below.
Thanks for your support and see you at camp!!
